Don't Forget to Breathe
This isn’t a proper addition to the narrative of Devil Country, but rather some wandering thoughts on a quiet weekend.
Seven years ago, most of the newly activated patriots had no idea what an attorney general was, let alone that each state had one. The same generation that had never so much as spent more than a moment's glance watching C-Span as they flipped through channels in the 90s and early 2000s is now carefully analyzing every statement made by the current Congress, even going so far as to host livestream watch parties with commentary for the House Speaker vote multiple days in a row while being joined by thousands of viewers on Rumble (shout out to Badlands Media).
It’s easy to be black-pilled by this process in a world of instant satisfaction: fast food, fast internet, next-day delivery, and hell, video games hardly even have loading times anymore. I invite you to consider this: when it comes to fundamentally changing the tone of the nation and surgically removing all of the rot and filth that have festered here, unchecked, for the last century, the wheels of change turn slowly, but they ARE turning.
More people are engaged in politics in this country than ever before, and not in a shallow and undiscerning way. This was arguably the most essential step toward saving our country. Even the doomers are still actively engaged enough to know what’s going on and who our real enemies are.
All that being said, it is important to know your limits. The human mind was not designed to take in as much information as we see pumped out on a daily basis from outlets across the country. It is essential to take a moment to breathe, to enjoy nature, your family, your pets, and whatever things that exist in your immediate life that bring you joy.
As far as Devil Country is concerned, you can expect the second half of the first chapter soon. God bless you all and stay vigilant.
Yes — and the smile will comeback...
Thank you for this encouragement.
