February is inching closer and closer to its end, and mentally, I’m still back in December, processing the collective joy we all experienced at the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Justin DesChamps. (For those who may be unaware, Justin is my cohost at Vigilant News, a fellow Badlands BadLad, and a dear friend of mine.)
Now winter is almost over in sunny Georgia and it never really felt like it began. I suppose time flies when the world is descending into unprecedented chaos.
This diverse neighborhood of alternative media that Badlands and Vigilant News inhabit appears to be dramatically devolving into a figurative high school lunchroom. You have Steven Crowder beefing with the Daily Wire, Tim Pool had a psychobilly freakout on some of his fans while live on YouTube, Blaze TV is being sued by one of its former employees, and now James O’keefe has officially been ousted from Project Veritas.
The James O’keefe bit was particularly heartbreaking. If you haven’t seen his farewell speech I’ll post it below. It’s a real tear-jerker.
Viva Frei seems to have noticed this discomforting trend as well.
If you are unfamiliar with the term COINTELPRO I highly suggest you read up on it. As per Wikispooks:
“COINTELPRO (syllabic abbreviation derived from COunter INTELligence PROgram) (1956–1971) was a large series of covert and illegal projects conducted by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting American political organizations.”
“It was COINTELPRO that enabled the FBI and police to eliminate dissident leaders without undermining the image of the United States as a democracy, complete with free speech and the rule of law.”
Fortunately, we at badlands Media have so far managed to avoid any of the drama. Instead of self-immolating, we seem to be growing faster than any of us could have predicted. Our shows have been making the Rumble leaderboard daily, even Vigilant News hit # 35 this week.
I just wanted to check in before starting another gauntlet of work. Hope everyone out there is staying sane, keeping the thought forms clean, keeping the vibe high, and staying suited up in the armor of God.
So a month has gone by, notice how even the MSM is starting to change even their “headlines” blah blah . There is a rumble in the jungle. Hear it!
That began when CPUSA went underground in the 1950s and emerged in the early 60s, on campus and in journalism schools.
