They're Making Their Move, Steady Boys
The Indictment of Donald Trump Marks the Beginning of a New Phase in this War
Today I woke up at 9:30 AM (rather late in the day for a grown man, I know) and the sky in northern Georgia was slightly dim, and so too was that collective spirit of patriots who see the establishment in Washington DC for what it is, a forsaken outpost for the international criminal empire whose tendrils are deeply embedded into our political system. As it turned out, after weeks of hype and senseless chatter from the various talking heads of TV land, they finally got around to indicting Donald John Trump. It would be a dark day to be sure, but even now in the early stages of this development, I see it only becoming a net positive for the movement.
Upon securing a hot cup of joe and setting to work, I turn on Bannon’s WarRoom and the first thing I hear is Glen Beck, reminding viewers to “put on the full armor of god.” This was a man that I was once convinced I was supposed to hate back when I still lingered in the gloom of the political nihilism that marked my mid-twenties, now he was reminding me of one of my favorite passages from the Bible, Ephesians 6:10-18:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
May these passages be as empowering to you, dear reader, as they have been to me in my darkest hours. I may not be what most would consider an “orthodox” Christian, but I have found great peace in turning towards God without the spiritual distortions of man’s dogma blocking my view. I am well aware of the kneejerk reaction the nonreligious have to this kind of content, I myself experienced it for decades, but the times are primed to grow even darker still, and if you’re not rooted in some kind of faith, whatever it may be, you will be swept up in the coming winds of terror and madness as the world continues to swirl down the crapper in the lead up to this sort of “great reset” event horizon.
So what is this all about? I decided to peruse all of the establishment propaganda rags to see how they are shaping this narrative (it’s a practice that can be nauseating, I know, but it is important to know what they are saying.) Here’s what I found:
Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on Thursday, New York Post reports that the indictment was over hush-money payments made ahead of the 2016 elections — marking the first-ever criminal case against a former US president.
The soulless golems at NPR report that Trump is likely to be charged with a violation of New York penal code 175.10, falsifying business records in the first degree.
NBC elaborated further, saying that Trump has been hit with about 30 criminal charges in total, possibly all of them related to alleged document fraud mentioned in the indictment.
On its face, it seems like this thing is moving towards a show trial ostensibly meant to harm the former president's chances at a 2024 victory. It could be something more, as is often the case in the kabuki theatre of American politics and the legal system, time will tell. Rep. Gary Plamer (R-AL) is calling it an “attempted political assassination.”
It certainly seems like a grim situation when one side weaponizes the law to attack their political opponents inciting more distrust of our judicial system in the process and undermining the future of our democracy. For the good of the nation, this case should immediately be thrown out, but as we know, nothing that has happened under this administration has been good for the nation.
Keep praying/meditating/whatever spiritual practice you prefer to commune with the highest, and do not stoop to violence. In the words of the people’s General Mike Flynn:
“Steady boys. steady.”
